Hundreds of buildings in major cities across America will eventually be retrofitted using energy reduction as a key focal point. Energy efficiency specialist will be needed to enable these building transformations.
The Work Force Energy Efficiency Specialist Program (WFEESP) is a certificate program that goes beyond the fundamentals and teaches a broad spectrum of energy principles and techniques. Topics include building energy use, glazing, insulation, building envelope, heating/cooling, secondary HVAC, controls, central plant equipment, energy auditing. Each topic is covered by a discipline expert from a hands on integration approach. WFEESP consists of the following 5 modules:
